Becoming You

It begins with you; what makes you tick?
Reading, writing, or arithmetic?
From there it shifts to your loves and passions,
Cooking, designing, or high fashions?
But along with these comes schooling; a must.
Where knowledge and learning yield up their trust.
And there comes exposure: to the unimaginable!
Just think of all the things you can do; stay hopeful!
Capacity is built "line upon line",
Our spectrum of perception grows stronger with time.
It's all about exceptional thinking- outside of the box,
What impact can you make, even if upon rocks?
Take good notes, my friends; learn to know what you love.
For loving what you know seems to make fit like a glove.
Take that glove with you, where ever you go;
One day you must choose the path you will follow.
Make that path entirely you.
Be the person always looked up to.
Decide what you know is best to do,
Because the time was taken to understand YOU.
